Lamar Advertising to Build New Las Vegas Parquee® Celebrating City’s Historic Westside

Lamar Advertising Company (Nasdaq: LAMR), one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world, today announced that, through its ongoing partnership with the City of Las Vegas, it will build a new informational digital advertising sign, or Parquee®, created specifically to promote the legacy and heart of the city’s historic Westside. Parquee® is Lamar’s digital marquee product that is deployed on municipal parks and properties and designed to promote and complement the surrounding area at no cost to the city.
Famously known as the home to the thriving black community of Las Vegas, the Westside is now recreating itself in celebration of its importance, vitality and contributions to the world-renowned City of Las Vegas.
“In addition to supporting Las Vegas and helping to create revenue, we believe it is just as important to create symbols promoting and celebrating the communities within the city,” said Chris Prickett, Lamar Advertising Vice President and Territory Manager.
